Our interactive online classes are designed to be engaging and accessible for students of all ages and proficiency levels. These terms are here to help maintain a respectful, productive, and enriching learning environment for everyone.
1. Community Guidelines
1.1. Respect and Kindness
At bayan-academy, respect is a core value. Please treat fellow students, tutors, and staff with kindness and courtesy at all times. Bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior is not tolerated.
1.2. Punctuality and Preparation
Being on time reflects your commitment. Please attend classes punctually and inform us in advance if you’ll be late or absent.
1.3. Active Participation
We encourage all students to participate actively—ask questions, join discussions, and complete assignments on time to make the most of your learning.
1.4. Staying Connected
- Check for Updates: Regularly check your email and our learning platform for important announcements.
- Communicate Openly: Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We expect timely and respectful communication from all learners.
1.5. Technical Requirements
- Devices & Internet: A stable internet connection and a device (computer/tablet) with a webcam and headphones are essential.
- Platform Familiarity: Please become familiar with the tools we use. Our support team is here to help if you need assistance.
1.6. Evaluation and Feedback
- Grading System: Course-specific grading systems will be explained at the start. Feel free to ask your tutor for clarification.
- Feedback: You’ll receive constructive feedback to help you grow and improve throughout your course.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
2.1. Payment Policy
- Fees: Course fees are due upon registration and can be paid securely online via major credit cards or other supported methods.
- Installments: Selected courses may offer installment plans. Details will be available during registration.
- Receipts: Payment confirmation and receipts will be sent via email.
2.2. Refund Policy
- Trial Class: New students receive a free trial class. If you choose not to continue, no payment is required.
- Withdrawal Before Start: Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 48 hours before the course begins.
- Withdrawal Within First Week: 75% refund available if cancellation occurs within the first week.
- After First Week: No refunds are provided after the first week.
- Non-Attendance: Missing classes without notice does not qualify for a refund unless prior arrangements are made.
- Course Cancellation by bayan-academy: In the rare event of cancellation, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another course.
- Exceptional Circumstances: Refund exceptions (e.g., for medical reasons) may be considered with documentation.
- Processing: Approved refunds will be issued within 2 business days via the original payment method.
3. Attendance & Class Cancellation
3.1. Attendance Expectations
Consistent attendance is vital. If you can’t attend a class, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
3.2. Student/Parent Cancellations
- Notice Required: Cancel at least 6 hours before your session to qualify for a make-up class.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 6 hours may not be eligible for rescheduling, unless due to emergencies.
3.3. No-Show Policy
- Definition: Not showing up without notice.
- Consequence: May impact performance records. Repeated no-shows could affect enrollment.
3.4. Class Cancellations by bayan-academy
- Instructor Absence: We will inform you promptly and reschedule where possible.
- If Unreschedulable: You will be offered a refund or alternative class.
3.5. Make-Up Classes
- Eligibility: Available if prior notice was given or class was canceled by bayan-academy.
- Scheduling: Based on instructor availability, coordinated directly with the student/parent.
3.6. Refunds for Canceled Classes
Refunds are not typically offered for canceled sessions unless they cannot be rescheduled or in exceptional cases.

4.1. Data Protection
Your personal information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and care.
4.2. Digital Security
We ensure our platforms are secure and your data is protected from unauthorized access.
5. Policy Updates
These terms may be updated periodically to reflect new feedback or improvements. We’ll notify you of any significant changes.
